KnitGuard is a rugby helmet. Combining neurological research with industrial innovations, I’ve utilized current technologies to protect the players of this full contact game. KnitGuard features an innovative shell using 3D knitting technology and the most efficient shock absorption foam padding. Ultralight (220 grams in Men's Large size) its slick structure controls the sweat for regulating the head’s temperature. Being able to test my own prototypes on the field has been gratifying and permitted me to develop a new language for this gear, which allows the rugbymen to do what they do best: play.
